錆びた金属や乾いた大地を思わせる質感の層の中に、
かつて確かに存在していた「色」の痕跡が、沈殿物のように残されている。
赤や紫は、花が咲いた瞬間の鮮やかさではなく、
燃え尽きたあとにわずかに残る熱や記憶として現れる。
それらは主張することなく、表面の奥で静かに滲み、
時間によって削られ、溶け、別の物質へと変質していく。
ガラス片や粗い粒子が生む不均一な凹凸は、
破壊と生成が同時に起こる場所を示している。
何かが終わったあとにだけ立ち上がる、新しい気配。
この作品における「開花」は、華やかな始まりではなく、
すべてが燃え、崩れ、灰となったその先に残るものだ。
Ashes of Bloom は、
失われたものの記憶が完全には消えず、
形を変えながら静かに次の時間へ移行していく、その過程を描いている。
花は咲き、燃え、灰となる。
そして灰の中から、また別の何かが生まれようとしている。
