作品について
「Leave」というタイトルには、
「立ち去る」と「残す」という二つの意味が込められています。
この作品は、別れや解放、
そして新たな始まりへと向かう
感情の移ろいの瞬間を表現した作品です。
画面左側に広がる金色と茶色の重層的なテクスチャーは、
落ち葉が幾重にも積み重なるような質感を生み出し、
自然の循環や時間の堆積を感じさせます。
中央から右へと広がる鮮やかな赤やピンクの色彩は、
情熱や生命力、そして別れの瞬間に生まれる
強い感情の高まりを象徴しています。
プラスターによって生み出された立体的な質感、
真鍮や粉砕ガラスが光を受けて輝くことで、
作品には奥行きと動きが生まれ、
観る角度や光によって様々な表情を見せます。
画面を縦に走る黒い線は、
時間の経過や出来事の断片を記録するかのように、
過去と現在を静かにつなぎ合わせています。

In May 2026, the artwork will meet the atmosphere of New York
and encounter many viewers for the first time during the solo exhibition.

Artwork Description
The title “Leave” contains a dual meaning:
to depart and to leave something behind.
This work explores the delicate emotional moment between letting go, liberation, and the beginning of something new.
The layered gold and earthy textures on the left side of the canvas resemble fallen leaves accumulating over time, evoking the quiet cycles of nature and the passage of time.
From the center toward the right side, vivid reds and pinks emerge and expand across the surface, symbolizing passion, vitality, and the emotional intensity that often accompanies moments of separation and transformation.
The sculptural textures created with plaster, combined with metallic brass and crushed glass that shimmer in the light, create depth and movement within the work.
The surface changes subtly depending on the viewer’s angle and the surrounding light.
The thin black lines running vertically through the painting appear like traces of time—fragments of events connecting the past and the present.
Beauty and melancholy,
what disappears and what remains.
This artwork expresses the emotions that exist in that delicate space between the two.
When placed within a space, the work resonates quietly with the viewer’s own memories and experiences, leaving a lingering sense of reflection.
